Based on the type of advice you require, we offer flexibility in terms of how you would like to pay for the advice and services Life & Legacy render.
Here are the different ways we are compensated, followed by a Fee Schedule when applicable.
COMPENSATION METHODS Advisor Compensation Disclosure (Fee Only): We are compensated through fees as determined based on the time and complexity of the planning needs. Implementation of any recommendations will be solely your responsibility.
Advisor Compensation Disclosure (Fee Plus Commission): We are compensated through fees based on the time and complexity of the planning needs and will also receive compensation through commissions. These additional revenues will be received as a result of the placement of investment, insurance, and other financial products as part of the implementation of the action plan.
Advisor Compensation Disclosure (Fee Offset): We are compensated through a fee-offset arrangement. The fees will be determined based on the time and complexity of the planning needs. These fees will be reduced to reflect any commissions received for transactions undertaken as a part of the implementation of the action plan. More specifically, We will calculate how much annual fee revenue is required to carry out the engagement and ongoing continuous service, and deduct from this the estimated annual compensation expected in the form of commissions, in order to arrive at a net amount payable annually. The fee-offset calculation only includes fees earned on investment assets outside the realm of the Insurance Act.
Advisor Compensation Disclosure (Commission Only): We are compensated through commissions. These revenues will be received as a result of the placement of investment, insurance, and other financial products as part of the implementation of the action plan.
SCHEDULE OF FEES Enrichment Program: $3,500 A comprehensive financial plan which includes all major areas such as risk management,asset allocation,retirement analysis,estate and tax issues. An advice summary enabling you to take advantage of the analysis done is the cornerstone of this service. The report and executive summary will be between 15-30 pages in length and is presented in a binder which allows for you to organize your financial records going forward. 2 meetings.
Professional Portfolio Analysis: $1,000 A comparison between current state and recommended state portfolios. Metrics and risk profile performed to provide a detailed report assessing strengths and weaknesses of your portfolio and recommendations on various mandates at your request. Includes asset allocation ad rebalancing recommendations. 2 meetings.
Retirement Planning Projection: $1,000 A comprehensive projection specific to all factors contributing to your retirement goals. It takes all assets linked o to this goal into account including asset allocation assessment of current investments, pension plans alternative investments etc. 2 meetings.
Investment Risk Assessment: $500 A simple risk assessment questionnaire based on financial facts and personal opinions and attitudes towards risk. A sample portfolio asset mix recommendation is provided based on this discussion. 1 meeting.
Employee Benefit Program Analysis: $1,000 For small businesses, a stringent analysis of your current employee benefit program complete with recommendations for improvement, efficiency, cost and strategy personalized to your specific plan goals. 2 meetings.
Single Need Analysis: $250 An advice based discussion regarding a specific financial issue such as what to do with a mortgage, buying/leasing, how much insurance do I need or any general advice regarding financial areas we regularly deal with. Simple reports or summaries are provided where applicable. 1 meeting.
