Charitable Giving Policy:
Life & Legacy designates a % of total operating revenue every year to be allocated to non-profit organizations and charities.
We look for initiatives which are sustainable, build on community interest and support and add lasting value beyond the dollars invested.
We recognize that our people are the face of our company so we encourage and support the community-minded volunteer efforts of our employees and associates.
Individuals or organizations requesting support should be:
- Non-profit or registered as a Canadian charity with a CRA tax number or equivalent
- Using the dollars within the GTA and outlying areas
We focus our support in the following areas:
- causes, organizations or charities benefiting children
- causes, organizations or charities which are introduced to us by a client
Groups/individuals we have donated to in the past:
CIBC Run for the Cure
Canadian Red Cross (Tsunami Relief)
Camp Oochigeas for children with cancer
Families affected by Hurricane Katrina
Quinte’s Children of Chernobyl
Brampton Royals Baseball Team

Submissions should be no longer than one page and include the identity and purpose of the charity/organization, geographic location of where the money will be used, and the name of the person/representative submitting the application.
All applications will be responded to either by email or in writing.
